The NFL draft starts Thursday at 8 p.m. The New York Jets have the 2nd overall pick, and the New York Giants have the 11th overall pick. Both teams have some similar but also different needs.

Both teams are also looking for different franchise cornerstones. Gang Green is looking for a franchise quarterback after trading Sam Darnold to the Panthers. Big Blue is still trying to build around third-year quarterback Daniel Jones, who the organization hopes could be the long-term answer. To answer a lot of fans’ questions leading up to Thursday, Giants beat writer for New York Post Paul Schwartz and Jets reporter for Newsday Sports Al Iannazzone joined the podcast, which can be found here.
